Privacy policy and cookies
How Omnivumo handles website logs, IP addresses, aggregate visitor statistics and Google AdSense.
1. Who is responsible?
Omnivumo (omnivumo.eu) provides free online tools and games. The data controller is Omnivumo. For privacy questions and data-subject requests, contact omnivumo.privacy@gmail.com. The operator supplies this public contact during installation.
2. Information we process
- Server access and security: technical Apache access and error logs may record IP address, time, requested URL, status, referrer and user-agent.
- Approximate country selection: the VPS consults a locally stored DB-IP Lite country database using the visitor's IP address; visitors may select a different language.
- Calculators: ordinary calculation inputs are processed in your browser, not sent to our server as part of the calculation.
- Network tools: the IP checker uses the requesting or supplied public IP address; the TLS checker uses a public hostname to examine its certificate. Limited hashed IP-based identifiers can be kept temporarily to prevent abuse.
- Public counter: the server derives a single total page-view count from Apache logs and publishes only the aggregate number. Raw access logs can still contain personal data.
- Browser storage: preferences, favourites and some game settings may remain locally on the visitor's device.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Technical logs and necessary security measures serve the legitimate interests of operating, protecting and troubleshooting the website. Aggregate counting helps us understand overall usage. Where required, non-essential advertising cookies and relevant personal-data uses are subject to prior consent via a consent management platform (CMP). You may change or withdraw your choice. The legal basis depends on the purpose and service.
4. Google AdSense and third parties
Omnivumo uses Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-5273388039776800). Google and advertising partners may use cookies, similar identifiers, web beacons, IP addresses and device/browser data to serve and measure ads, combat fraud, and — where permitted and appropriately consented — personalise advertising. Third parties may place or read browser cookies and gather data about visits to this or other websites.

STRATO hosts the website. DB-IP Lite provides the locally stored country-reference database. External sites have their own policies if you follow outbound links.
5. Consent and your choices
The operator intends to use a Google-certified CMP for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. When published in the Google AdSense account, it provides options to accept, refuse and manage applicable consent. This privacy policy does not by itself establish a working consent mechanism. You can also remove or block cookies in your browser. Non-essential processing must follow the applicable consent rules.
6. Retention
The public page-view counter retains one aggregate number rather than profiles of individual visitors. Apache logs follow the VPS's configured log rotation and operational security/backup practices; the controller must verify these settings and delete entries once no longer needed. Temporary rate-limit records are pruned as requests are processed. Google controls its own cookie and data retention according to its published policies and CMP details.
7. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you can contact omnivumo.privacy@gmail.com to request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection or portability as applicable. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
8. Changes
This policy may change as services and legal obligations evolve. Last substantive update: 4 November 2026. Contact: omnivumo.privacy@gmail.com.
